Look out, Rio membros!  Our fourth annual Rio Sambada will be held on Friday night, AUGUST 22, 2008 at the PETROLEUM CLUB in Lafayette. Sorry fans...members only.

On Sambada night, we introduce our new King and Queen to our members. Our Dom Pedro IV is Cyrus Champagne and our Queen Isabel IV is Kelley Gauthreaux, both of Lafayette.

An exciting feature of our Rio Sambada is the selection by lottery of our Corte Real or Royal Court. Royalty wannabees place their name in the lottery and must be present to assume their courtly positions if their names are drawn.  Good luck to all our royalty hopefuls.
